This woman amazes me! Her strength and her love for God is awesome! Her story reminds me to not take things for granted and to be thankful for the small things. Life is a wonderful thing, filled with beauty & wonder.....we should embrace it everyday, and be thankful for the path that is set before us, for God will be beside us, always, guiding our steps and leading the way!

Caesar Salad

I was home alone Friday night, so I made myself a caesar salad with homemade dressing and garlic croutons using this recipe. YUM!

Just a Thought

Remember.....things won't always be easy, but God will always be there to lead you through!! He'll never give us more than we can handle. So, if you're going through it, God thinks you can handle it! He has faith in you!!! What an awesome thought!!!!!

A Baby Shower for Haven

This is my sweet little niece, Haven.
Haven was born in February.
In January I posted pictures of the cake for Haven's baby shower, but I never posted any others.
So, here they are, 3 months later.....

Personal Library Kit &
a Vintage Typewriter

This was one of the things on the Christmas wish list that Shawn told me to make. I'd had my eye on it for a while, & I was so happy to finally have it! {Check out this company for more fun gifts!}

Now I can play librarian!

It even has a date stamp.....how fun!

I just had to have a typewriter to "write" my book & author names. This one belonged to my Aunt Jo.
I have many fond memories of playing with this typewriter!

I better put my name in this one before I loan it out.....
it is, after all, my favorite book!

{Apparently this company has a sense of humor!}
